She came back to him the next day and said, "I was thinking about what you said, about the falling people."
"What about them?" he asked.
Artist Notes: "It made me think of tornadoes and how I've always been terrified of them, but at the same time I wanted very much to ride on one. Safely."
"That's not possible," he said. "You were probably thinking of the Wizard of Oz."
"Maybe," she said, "but some people have survived rides on tornadoes."
"I'd hardly call that a ride," he said.
"Well, what's a better word?"
"Being thrown, perhaps," he said. "A ride makes me think of Pecos Bill. Didn't he ride tornadoes?"
"I believe he did. In the Disney film."
"Did you have to wreck it by bringing up Disney?" he said.
