  • Artist Notes: I saw Dinah Shore sing "See the USA in your Chevrolet," and sat on Betty White's lap, I don't know why. As we were leaving, the public address system warned us that the Alligator Lady had escaped. I was terrified that a scary creature (not that old lady with very bad skin) lurked under the cars in the parking lot and would jump out at us.

    We came through similar territory growing up (did we ever grow up?). I was a Catholic kid from northwest Detroit and met the Lobster Man at the same State Fair. He was a pretty nice guy.
    I am an oil painter and a stop motion animator and a lot of other things to. I had a dream about an “alligator girl” and am working on a picture of her. Having done a google image search for “alligator girl” i turned up your website. I enjoyed it. Thanks.
