My friend Dan Kelly asked to see my new masks so this was the easiest way to show them.
This is my first experiment in combining painting and writing. I like how the idea is coming along. I started using Blurb.com to make books of my paintings, then added comments. Here I go for a variety of fiction: surreal memoir, imaginary overheard conversations of people looking at the paintings, a “self interview”, and the biography of my alter-ego Carlos Bernardo.
