This is my first experiment in combining painting and writing. I like how the idea is coming along. I started using Blurb.com to make books of my paintings, then added comments. Here I go for a variety of fiction: surreal memoir, imaginary overheard conversations of people looking at the paintings, a "self interview", and the biography of my alter-ego Carlos Bernardo. My goal was to make something that would interest people who might have only a passing interest in art. Eager to see what people think. You can preview (and buy) the book on blurb.com
